Cream Punch

This is a variation on Milk Punch. This is a drink that can be served cold or hot. And since the weather is not all that predictable in September here in Oklahoma, I thought it was appropriate to have a versatile drink for the weekend. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 oz brandy
  • 1 oz dark rum
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 drops vanilla extract
  • 6 oz half and half
  • nutmeg (for garnish)

Cold Preparation:

  • Pour the all ingredients over ice into the shaker.
  • shake well
  • Strain into a Highball glass.
  • Sprinkle with nutmeg to garnish.

Hot Preparation:

  • Heat 6 oz of half and half until steaming.
  • Pour all ingredients into a latte glass.
  • Stir carefully.
  • Sprinkle with nutmeg to garnish.

Makes 1 serving.
