Cream Punch
This is a variation on Milk Punch. This is a drink that can be served cold or hot. And since the weather is not all that predictable in September here in Oklahoma, I thought it was appropriate to have a versatile drink for the weekend. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 1 oz brandy
- 1 oz dark rum
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 drops vanilla extract
- 6 oz half and half
- nutmeg (for garnish)
Cold Preparation:
- Pour the all ingredients over ice into the shaker.
- shake well
- Strain into a Highball glass.
- Sprinkle with nutmeg to garnish.
Hot Preparation:
- Heat 6 oz of half and half until steaming.
- Pour all ingredients into a latte glass.
- Stir carefully.
- Sprinkle with nutmeg to garnish.
Makes 1 serving.
