A close call
Ever since the announcement that Starbuck’s will be closing 600+ stores over the next year, I have been wondering which of my local haunts will be getting the ax. Today I saw my answer – almost none of them (Note: the Huffington on the list each line starts with the store number and name – not the address). Oh yes, there are Oklahoma stores that are closing (list to follow), but almost none of those stores are ones that I actually go to. Here is the list of Oklahoma store addresses (the ones in bold are the ones that I have been to, but not regularly):

If you will notice (as I most certainly did), not a single store in Norman, OK is currently on the list. After looking at this list and determining which of the ones I go to and which ones I don’t, I am starting to wonder if there is a corelation between my coffee habits and the success of a local Starbuck’s store. I will have to do a little more research on that. But for now: Woo Hoo – I get to keep my favorite stores!! Hmmm… I think I might go get me a coffee tonight to celebrate.
