A little batty
A teenager found a bat in her bra. I have heard of bats in the belfry, but I have never heard of this. The first thing I thought of after reading about this was “how could you not know” and then I thought “maybe it is like having a dryer sheet stuck in your shirt” and then I thought “it is nothing like a dryer sheet - it is alive - it moves!!!”
So I did what anyone else would have done at this point and I re-read the article for clues. I didn’t find any, but I found something that struck me as funny:
“It wasn’t until her lunch break that she investigated and pulled out the frightened bat.”
Did she go into the bathroom to remove the bat or did she do this in the middle of the hotel restaurant with 25 onlookers? And if so, why isn’t it on YouTube - cause I really want to see that!
Reading on into the article (for the third time now in case you were counting), I found this:
“Bats are known to roost anywhere it appears to be dark and safe.”
She is just lucky that that little baby bat didn’t decide to crawl into her underwear - there is no telling where it would have ended up from there.

Finally, a good argument against the humble clothesline. (I’ve checked the old Kenmore dryer, and there’s no bat access.)
LOL……We’ve had bats in our boots before. When we lived at Van Horn, the bats would stay over for awhile from Mexico. The boys would leave their window open and, of course, letting those lovely creatures fly in.

All I know is that after I read about that bat in her bra, I checked ALL my clothes before I put them on the next morning.
