One Mundane Meme
Favorite laundry detergent: I use Ulta Tide because it cleans my clothes and that is all you can really ask of your laundry detergent.
Favorite item used for an unintended purpose: I use toothpaste to polish the silver and it really works. I can’t stand the smell of the silver polish stuff, so I have a tube of toothpaste that is dedicated to just cleaning any silver that I have.
Favorite way to buy music: I still prefer to buy albums on CD in a store. I like to use the listening stations that some stores still have to “discover” a new artist that I may not have thought I would like. I do buy and download some music from iTunes, but I usually know exactly what I am looking for when I do that.
How clean is your car? The inside is virtually spotless - the outside could use a bit of a wash.
How clean is your apartment/house/room? My house is cluttered and the knick-knacks are a bit dusty. Otherwise it is fairly clean.
How clean is your office? My home office is quite cluttered and could use a good organization strategy. My work office is super clean - it makes my co-workers feel like they’re dirty people :-).
Favorite weekly free time: Friday nights because it is the beginning of the weekend and means that the work week has finally ended and I have time to breathe.
Is there a word, phrase, or gesture that is identifiably yours? I have a few choice gestures, but none of them could be said to be just mine. Actually, the only phrase that can be attributed to me is one that other people always say to me and one that I never really ever say. The phrase is “You Would” and I have heard it from close friends all my life. I am still not sure why they think I would do or say anything, but it still seems to be the phrase that has stuck with me.
Most effective medicine for one (or more) of your ailments: I take Zomig for my migraines and it is THE most effective medicine (short of industrial strength painkillers) that I have found to treat the nasty buggers.
A favorite thing you try to sell/push/encourage your friends to try: I encourage lots of people to try Apple computer products. For all the sales that I have sent to Apple over the years, I should have received some kind of kickback.
Favorite new (or new-to-you) thing: I’ve been trying out Twitter over the past few months and I really like it. The concept of it sounded really stupid when I first heard about it, but it is really starting to grow on me.
