I don’t usually get political on this site, but for this I had to make an exception:

It would seem that being gay “is not a lifestyle that is good for this nation” and that the homosexual lifestyle “is a death knell for this country” according to Oklahoma State Representative Sally Kern. The previous quotes were the kindest quotes to the homosexual community that I heard when I listened to what she actually said. What you understand during and after listening to all this (after you get over the initial shock that she ACTUALLY said that) is that she has been completely mis-informed. What I realized after I listened to her ramblings is that if you replace the words gay or homosexual with any other community (AARP, Baptists, prostitutes, American-Indians, computer geeks, etc.) and then said the same thing in a public forum; your resignation would be requested in blood before the end of the day. If for no other reason than the fact that her comments are hurting our tourism. The following You Tube clip is from the Ellen show:
