R2D2 takes the cake
Now this is a CAKE! I have seen all sorts of cakes before, but this one takes the uhhhh cake (sorry about that - couldn’t think of anything else to say about it). This is definitely the best groom’s cake I have seen to date (not that I see a lot of groom’s cakes - I don’t go to very many weddings, but that is a topic for a whole other post). Even so, I love the whole idea of having an event cake that you can remember. Most of the time a cake is just a cake - you look at it, shop it in to pieces, add a little ice cream to the side (if it is a really good party), and dig in. Not much to it - and definitely nothing to remember. When someone asks you later about the cake, you just say it was good or bad - not much of a conversation topic really. I am very glad that this was a groom’s cake and not a birthday cake. I really couldn’t see having candles put into his head - that would just be wrong!
