Grandma’s Spirit
Apologies for the lack of posting this week. My grandmother passed away last weekend and I have been spending time traveling to Idaho, being with family, and attending funeral services. My grandmother was a wonderful woman who always put her family first. I can’t remember her ever raising her voice to a child and she believed that every person was special - no matter what. She was a strong woman who lived through much adversity in her life, but never let anything get to her. She lived most of her life in one of the most beautiful small towns that I have ever been to in my life. My family spent most of our childhood summers wandering her wilderness property and the streets of that town. On this visit to her property everything was blanketed in snow, but was almost exactly the same as it was on my last visit; just as it was on my first visit. I wandered the property as I had done as a child and I could still feel her spirit there. I will miss her, but I know where to go if I need to be with her and my grandpa.

Sorry to hear about your Grandma. Grandma’s always hold a special place in their granddaughter’s heart, no matter how long they have been gone. I know mine still does, even after 12 years and my daughter carries her name so she still lives on, not just in my heart. Glad to have you back!
Thank you for your kind words and it is very good to be back.
