Tin Man (3 of 3)
It was three days and three shows to come to the end of the yellow brick road. You probably want to know if it was worth it. It was! I would watch it again and you wouldn’t even have to tie me to the chair. Tin Man was good overall. I would give it a solid 4 stars out of 5 rating. Once again I will give you the run-down between the likes and dislikes.
Some of this may contain spoilers - you have been warned.
What I liked:
- lots of subtle references to the Wizard of Oz
- leaving Zero in the Tin Man suit was perfect
- DG saves herself - without needing to be rescued
- the evil witch melted
- the term “slippers” to mean someone who slipped through
What I didn’t like:
- the abrupt ending -too many loose ends
- how un-emotional the reunion of DG and her father was
- how anti-climatic it was when the Emerald was found - lots of build up then “here you go”
- and where did the emerald go
- The ending line “it’s so good to be home”
Not sure I’ll buy the DVD version of it when it comes out, but I might watch a series if they made one (at least for a couple of episodes).
