For the big day today we had no particular plans. We thought we would go have some Chinese food over at the Grand House early in the day and then come home and watch movies or play video games - nothing special. We didn’t plan ahead to spend the day with family or friends this year, but somehow that changed. When everyone found out that we didn’t have any plans - we were invited to more Thanksgiving dinners than ever before. I want to make a very public thank you to all those who offered up their homes to us to make sure we didn’t spend the holiday alone.

Another year has passed and it is time once again to give thanks for all of what makes life so grand. Once again I thought it would be wonderful to put together a list of what I am thankful for. The list this year has some of the same traits in common as last year’s list.

• My life-partner - for all her wonderful qualities!
• Mom - for her special way of telling it like it is.
• Dad - for his never ending supply of humor.
• Family - especially for making the extra effort this year to be more in touch with each other.
• Friends - for being my family when the rest of my family is so far away.
• My health.
• Strangely enough - having a job.
• Everything else….

And as always this list is in no particular order.
