Nothing, nothing, and more nothing

Posting has been very light over the past week. I seriously considered writing this as an apology for that, but finally decided that I was not all that sorry. I had a glorious time over the past week doing a whole lot of nothing. I had a few turkey dinners to attend to (oh god, […]

Happy Thanksgiving day

For the big day today we had no particular plans. We thought we would go have some Chinese food over at the Grand House early in the day and then come home and watch movies or play video games - nothing special. We didn’t plan ahead to spend the day with family or friends this […]

I have seen the light

My new obsession with Guitar Hero III is no big secret around here. There have even been some who thought it might be a bit of an addiction. Since this is a new obsession for me, I did not realize that there may be other things to do with the guitar than just play the […]

Mechanic
Guitarist

I found a link over at MetaFilter to take you down memory lane - which may or may not be a good thing. It is not appropriate for children under 30, but it is appropriate for work… The title of the post is the first thing that caught my attention - Strap in, shut […]

Mobile Training

I have been using a mobile device of one type or another for quite some time now. My first cell phone (portable version - I am not including the car phone that I once had) that I had didn’t do much more than make and receive calls. While the one I have now does oh […]

One heck of a useful website

The website called Browsershots is incredibly useful. You go to the site, type in your website address, choose some options and wait…. But after waiting (I only waited about 5 minutes), you are rewarded with small screenshots of what your website looks like in various browsers. That is just too cool. Mine turned out to […]
